Venus Raj. Isa na sya sa mga pinaka paborito kong beauty queens.

Sayang naman at fouth runner up lang si Venus. She almost made it! I-ban na kasi ang mga interpreter na yan! Unfair! Sana kasi pati tayo magka interpreter narin pag-sasali sa pageants.

Ito pa ang unfair, Kay Venus napunta ang pinaka-mahirap at nakakablankong tanong, samantalang doon sa ibang candidates ay pang grade 2 ang mga tanong.

Pero saludo parin ako kay Venus Raj, dahil composed parin siya maski hindi niya nasagot ang tanong, aba hindi rin biro na mapasama sa top 5!
Ang ibang pinoy talaga napaka- mapanlait, eh kung sila kaya ilagay sa lugar ni Venus masagot kaya nila yung tanong? Nakakainis ang mga taong akala mo kung sino magsalita mga nagpapangap lang naman at mga nagmamagaling.

Here's another discovery. Courtesy of Wikipedia. Mr. International. From 1998 to 2003 (Six years). Labis rin akong nasiyahan ng matuklasan kong nanalo na pala ang Pinas noong 2001. His name is Alexander Aquino ( Above Photo ). Sadly ay Hindi na nasundan ang pageant na ito since 2003. I wonder why.

miss asia pacific quest

When I was a young teenager ay lagi kong sinusubaybayan ang pageant na ito. Usually sa RPN 9 ito brino- broadcast. Sa pagkakatanda ko ay nagtatagal ng mahigit dalawang oras or more ang pageant nato. Of course kasama na doon ang mahahabang linya ng commercials. Pageant Started in 1968 and ended 2005.

The Miss Asia Pacific International is the first and oldest beauty pageant in Asia. It began as a regional pageant in 1968, known as the Miss Asia Quest. Participating countries came from Asia and Oceania.

In 1985, the pageant changed its name to the Miss Asia Pacific Quest, to encompass countries not just in the Asian and Oceania region, but those of North,Central and South America with borders touching the Pacific Ocean.

The pageant took its present form in 2005, when the name was changed to Miss Asia Pacific International, to include countries all over the world.

Anjan si Cinderella, Snow white at sleeping beauty at sa kabilang banda ng ballroom ay kaaway nilang mga prinsesa na sina Pocahontas, Mulan at Red Riding hood na walang inaatrasan kung baga matatapang. Ngunit hidni tungkol sa kanila ang Istoryang ito. Tungkol ito kay Kristeta. Si Kristeta ay  ang wicked step sister ni Cinderella. Di katulad ni Cindirella na sikat at ubod ng ganda si Kristeta ay ordinaryo lang ang hitsura ngunit maski ordinaryo lang ang hitsura niya ay may taglay siya na kakaibang karisma at mali rin ang naisulat sa kanya sa mga fairytalebooks dahil hindi naman masama ang ugali niya at sa totoong buhay ay hindi hinahabol habol ni Kristeta ang prinsipe dahil masyadong praktikal si Kristeta na maghabol na isang taong alam niyang wala siyang pag-asa.

Ang mga barkada ni Kristeta ay si Ursula ( Matabang Octopus Queen )at ang nagiisang transgender na sa prinsesa na si Ariel ( The little mermaid ).

Kasagsagan na ng kalasingan sa ball at ang lahat ay nagsisihanapan na ng malalandi. Medyo tipsy narin ang barkadahan ni Kristeta. Moment na maghanap ng malalandi. Habang todo ikot ang tatlong magkakaibigan. ay biglaang nakatapak ng shellfish si Kristeta. Dumalusdos siya accross the ballroom at sabay salpak ng mukha niya sa salad sa lamesa.

Sa gitna ng halakhakan ay napansin niyang nasa balkonahe si Cinderella together with her friends ( Snow white at ang sleeping pills princess na si Sleeping Beauty ). Sige ang tawanan ni Cinderella and friends habang hawak ang isang bowl ng shellfish.

Sa loob loob ni Kristeta " Sumusobra kana Cinderella, panahon na para gantihan kita. Umuwi si Kristeta na puro mantsa ang damit. Tinawagan ni Kristeta ang kanyang mga berks gamit ang kanilang magic mirrors.

Ursula: Sumosobra na talaga yang stepsister mong si Cinderella ang lakas ng trip!

Ariel: Korek!

Kristeta: Yes, napaka sinungalin niya kaya ayan ang sama ko tuloy sa mga fairytale books, porque maganda siya ay siya na ang pinaniniwalaan. Hmmm Panahon na para kumunsulta kay Geneva Toots!!

haunted house

Wala lang. Matagal ko na kasing plano na gumawa ng miniature na Haunted house. Eto ang kinalabasan, parang gawa lang ng grade one. O well, it was my first time at hindi pala madali. Well there's always room for growth, kailangan yun to develope potential skills. I always dream of becomming an interior designer. Katulad ng pagkanta at paguhit ay kailangan ko pa itong pag-aralan.

Ikukuwento ko lang to, hanging ngayon ay hindi ko parin ma-figure out ang logic sa mga pangyayaring nasabi.

Noong kinuwento sa akin ito hangang ngayon ay hindi parin ako makaisip ng isang logical na explanation sa naganap. Ang isang pinakamalapit na kuro kuro ko ay baka higanteng ibon ito.
